Q: WHAT KINDS OF CHOICES CAN I EXPECT IN A BON APPÉTIT CAFÉ?
Every café is a little different and features custom menus that change all the time, but all share one thing: a passion for great food, cooked from scratch with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Here are some things you’ll find in most cafes:
- A robust salad bar with fresh greens, a dozen+ vegetables, beans, lean proteins, crunchy toppings, and house-made dressings.
- A fresh deli bar with house-roasted turkey and ham, plus other proteins, cheeses, vegetables, spreads, and breads.
- House-made soups — always with a vegetarian option.
- Two or more hot entrées with sides like whole grains and fresh vegetables.
- Exhibition-style cooking stations where chefs prepare dishes to order. This includes anything from stir-fries to global street food.
- Grill, pizza, dessert stations, fresh fruit, beverages, and plenty of condiments.

Absolutely. “Healthy” means different things to different people, so we make sure our cafes offer a wide range of options to help meet (most) everyone’s goals and preferences.
Our chefs cook from scratch every day, using fresh, seasonal, and sustainably sourced ingredients whenever possible. That means you’ll always find plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and plant-based options. These are paired alongside globally inspired dishes and customizable meals to ensure ample choices that meet most guests’ wellness needs.
Additionally, we use simple labels to highlight items that are vegetarian and vegan as well as spotlighting ingredients that support our Farm to Fork and Seafood Watch commitments. If you’re looking for something specific, our chefs and managers are always happy to help you identify menu items that meet your specific preferences, so please reach out.

For daily specials, things work a little differently. Because our chefs cook from scratch and adjust recipes based on seasonal ingredients, flavor, and availability, exact nutrition numbers aren’t always possible. Think of it like cooking at home — pinches, splashes, and taste adjustments mean the dish is craveable and flavorful but not standardized.
However, our chefs use healthy cooking techniques to make food flavorful without relying on excess sugar, salt, or fat, so you can find menu items to meet a variety of health and wellness goals within our café.

We take food allergies and special diets seriously and want you to feel safe and confident dining with us. Our associates are trained in food allergy awareness, our menus use descriptive naming to highlight dishes that contain the top allergens, and we have Ingredient Experts available onsite to answer any questions you may have about ingredients or preparation methods.
However, we understand the complexities of food allergies and prefer to work with you one-on-one to meet your specific dietary needs. Our chef or manager can meet with you to:
- Review ingredients together.
- Assist you in finding safe options.
- Communicate your needs to the rest of the culinary team.
